I am an Assistant Professor in Operations Management at the Cox School of Business in Southern Methodist University.

I did my initial schooling and education in India. I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, I did an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Calcutta in Operations and Marketing. After my MBA, I worked at Cadbury India Ltd. as an Area Sales Manager.

In 2001, I moved to Austin, Texas to do a Ph. D. in Operations Management at the McCombs School of Business in the University of Texas at Austin. I completed by doctoral degree in Summer 2006, after which I joined the ITOM Department at the Cox School of Business.

My research looks at collaborative new product development under technology uncertainty. I am also interested in understanding how firms should make product design, development and distribution decisions in extended supply chains.
